Elinext Creates iPad Apps for Insurance Companies
Elinext, a global provider of outsourced IT services, delivers a custom iPad app for representatives of US insurance companies as end-users
December 28, 2012. Elinext developers created a comprehensive iPad app for automated information collection and processing. Agents of insurance companies now utilize it to electronically complete health and life insurance applications in the presence of clients.
Tablets are today widely used in business to let people communicate and collaborate on the go and in the field. In response to the growing complexity of the insurance sales and approval process, a US company contacted Elinext to develop a secure and efficient app for the iPad. End-users of the solution are insurance carriers, distributors, call centers, as well as paramedical vendors.
The app dynamically analyzes data input by agents, automatically evaluates different types of risks, and ultimately calculates prices. The application also provides consumers with the ability to electronically sign the application.
The data is then communicated to the servers of insurance carriers and healthcare organizations, wherein all information transmissions are securely encrypted. These interactions are based on the ACORD TXLife XML standard, which is the preferred data format for internal and external data integration within the life, annuities, and health insurance industry. It also foresees sending and receiving orders, status, and results of underwriting requirements.
The created interviewing and questionnaire processing solution is designed with the flexibility to complement various clients’ business models. Thus, it can be used by a wide range of insurance carriers, banks, brokers, real estate companies, recruiting agencies, educational institutions, as well as visa services and migration authorities.
“We are now able to quickly and cost-effectively create a tablet app customized to meet the requirements of sales, customer service, management, and HR departments,” said Maxim Dadychyn, Elinext Project Manager.
